As a parent or teacher, it is of great importance to have deep insight into children’s thinking preferences because it determines how they make decisions, learn, communicate and socialize.
There are a variety of children's profiles that are grouped according to a child's age:
NBI® Young Child Indicator (4 - 8 years)
The NBI® Young Child Indicator utilises pictures to measure the thinking preferences of young children (4–8 years). This profile report gives a general indication of the child's left and right brain dominances, to which greater detail is added later with the NBI® Student P Profile etc.

The NBI® Student P Profile incorporates pictures and sentences to measure the young student's (6 - 10 years) thinking preferences.
The NBI Student P profile report divides thinking into four quadrants, two in the left brain and two in the right brain.
This information helps parents to better understand their children and helps diffuse areas of frustration and disconnect.
